Zurich: The Adventure Begins

The kids and I set out for Europe a few days before Eli because he had a conflicting speaking engagement. We landed in Zurich and did our best to crash out and combat the jet lag with bribes of chocolate and toys.

It was a rainy afternoon in Zurich which made it easy to not feel like we were missing out if we didn’t see All The Things. Still, even in gray-gloom, Zurich showed off a bit.

Despite our best intentions, there was a Lego Batman Movie Watching, Granola Bar Eating Party at 2 am in our hotel. But, we made it and set out the next morning in search of our first destination: Zermatt.
